Our Ministries
Bible Studies
We have an all church Bible study group that meets on Fridays at the church at 10 am. There are also lots of fellowship opportunities to get together with one another.
Men's Ministry
We also have a Bible study for men that meets at the church on Friday mornings at 8 am, in person and Zoom, led by Phil Guida. There are also opportunities for the men to gather for fellowship with one another. We have a Men's Breakfast at Mel's Diner the first Wednesday of each month @ 9AM.
Family Ministries
At Oak River, we love kids and families! And we want to do whatever we can to come alongside parents as they raise their children. Children are always welcome in worship, and occasionally we have a special children's message just for them. We also have several family events planned for the upcoming year. AND we just completed the building and installation of the playground on our property.
Missions & Outreach
We support several local ministries, including RUF (a campus outreach ministry at FGCU), the Pregnancy Resource Center, and Love INC. We also support global missions through Operation Christmas Child, Shining Light International, and Earth Mission. We have an active missions committee, and we continue to seek to find ways to partner with gospel ministries and missionaries all over the community and our world. We are also a New Horizons site for afterschool tutoring of our neighborhood elementary children.
